Michelle & Mike, May 14, 2021, Inn at Erlowest-Lake George, NY
We officially kicked off the 2021 Hitlin Wedding Season with a double header weekend. The 1st wedding of the weekend, was Michelle and Mike’s up at the Inn at Erlowest on Lake George. Michelle and her girls were getting their hair and makeup done when we arrived and we busied ourselves shooting candids of the room and many of Michelle’s awesome wedding details. Our good friend Sarah Fichtman from Bisou Weddings, was on hand to help coordinate the day. Keith walked down to the Suncastle Townhouses where Mike and his guys were finishing getting dressed. Mike gave his guys some awesome groomsman gifts and they toasted the Groom. Michelle got into her gown with the help of her mom and had a first reveal with her Bridesmaids out on the deck. Downstairs at the front of the Inn, Michelle’s dad waited for his daughter who then came and had a first reveal with him as well. The couple officially had their First Look down by the lake on the docks. The weather was a little funny this day as it had called for some rain, hot temps and humidity. We were ready with umbrellas but it never rained. We moved around the property capturing some outdoor shots and even spotted one of Lake George’s cruise ships in the distance. The couple were married down on North Point, lakeside. Mike had custom made the bridal arch that they stood under and also these neat wood slabs that all the girls stood on so their heels didn’t sink in the ground. A mallard duck wandered into the ceremony and did some photo bombs during the ceremony as well. Once married, Erlowest had a golf cart ready to bring the couple up to the venue for more pictures as guests headed to Cocktail Hour. Friend of the couple; Riley Williams, played guitar and sang during both the ceremony and cocktail hour as guests enjoyed appetizers and some drinks. The Reception Hall was opened, and the couple stunned the crowd with a beautifully choreographed first dance. The Father of the Bride welcomed everyone and shared a dance with his daughter, which turned into quite a mash-up of fast songs. Guests thought it was great. The couple were also led outside to the patio to be surprised by fireworks shot off in the distance as a gift to the couple. We were so happy to see live music again, and our friends from Body & Soul got the crowd on their feet to get on the dancefloor. It was such a wonderful day. Congrats again to Michelle & Mike; our first wedding couple of 2021. Many blessings to you both!
