Marci & Dennis, December 7, 2019, Birch Hill
Meghan goes way back with Marci’s family and actually has known Marci since the day she was born. We were so happy to hear that she had become engaged and that they asked us to shoot their wedding. Keith got the chance to hang out with the couple during their engagement session and noticed right away how fit these two are for each other. Dennis just adores Marci and they have that type of relationship where both of their personalities just click. We were excited for their big day to say the least and being the beginning of December, we were also happy to see some snow on the ground for their winter wedding. The couple got ready separately at the Comfort Inn and Suites in Castleton. The girls had finished hair and makeup and were ready to toast the Bride when we arrived. Marci had a pretty lace robe on and also unwrapped a beautiful gift from her groom with us before she got into her gown with the help of her mom and sister. Keith headed to Dennis’ room where the Groom’s dad pinned a sentimental boutonniere on the Groom with a picture of his mom, who had passed on it. He also opened a gift from his Bride as well. After some pictures of the Bridesmaids and Bride’s family, the Bride went back into her room to hide while us and the Groom left the building to head to the church. The couple were married in a Catholic Ceremony at The Parish of St. John the Evangelist & St. Joseph in front of family and friends. After the Ceremony and family photos, we made our way to Birch Hill and proceeded with outdoor photos of the Wedding Party and couple. The sun set and we even had some time to capture a sparkler group photo and some shots by Birch Hill’s outdoor fire table. All day, we worked along side wedding planner, Linda Smith from Your Day, Your Way, who made sure everything was on point and the venue was gorgeously decorated. The reception was in Birch Hill’s Conservatory and guests sat at rose gold sequinned tables with beautiful floral pieces and candles. The crowd enjoyed delicious food and danced the night away to music played by SEH Entertainment. It was a great December Day. Congrats again Marci and Dennis and thank you for choosing Hitlin Photography Inc. We wish you all the best always!
