Sarah & Josh, The Sagamore Resort, July 20, 2019
Sarah and Josh got married on probably the HOTTEST day of the year in July. I mean temperatures soared to around 95 degrees outside. The day also called for quite a busy schedule, but as we arrived on property of the beautiful historic Sagamore Resort, we quickly got to work. We started down at the Groomsmen’s townhouse. When we walked in, we spied Josh writing a letter to his bride. The guys were mingling around pouring drinks and conversing as Josh put the finishing touches on his letter. The guys got dressed and Josh’s parents were on hand to make sure the guys had everything they needed. The Groom’s family know the owners of Florsheim Shoes, who gifted Josh with very nice leather loafers and a belt. The guys had their pictures with us after they were dressed. Meanwhile, Meghan headed over to the resort to photograph Sarah getting ready. The girls were getting hair and makeup done when we arrived and after Sarah was ready, we made our way up to their hotel suite for some fun pics of the girls popping a bottle of champagne. Sarah then slipped into her gorgeous Lazaro Wedding Gown and then we headed outside for Bridesmaid photos. The couple were married outdoors and had a gorgeous view of Lake George behind them during their ceremony. The resort was pretty busy with guests that day and as mentioned, it was quite hot, but then it got pretty windy and we made quick use of time photographing family and wedding party on the lawn. The Reception was held in the Shelving Rock pavilion and greenery was draped from the chandeliers and each guest took a potted succulent as their gift from the couple. The Silver Arrow Band had the dance floor constantly packed the entire night and I have to say, it was a party like nothing we’ve seen. Guests didn’t mind getting a little sweaty and it was evident that everyone had the time of their lives. To top off the night, Sarah and Josh did a grand exit through a glow stick aisle made up of their guests. WE DID IT, Sarah and Josh and had so much fun with you both throughout the day. Thank you for your smiles and we hope you have many loving years as husband and wife.
