Michaela & Jena, November 16, 2019, Century House

Michaela and Jena are just two of the funnest and sweetest people to be around.  They both love a good time and are so giddy around each other.  We learned this when we did their engagement session back in the Winter.  We knew their wedding day would be a blast.  The two got ready in separate rooms at the Century House hotel and we bopped back and forth between the two.  Each room was filled with lots of family and friends helping each girl get ready.  Details were not missed with this wedding and were seen even in their attire for the day. Michaela had custom painted Michael Jordan sneakers depicting the couple on their wedding day.  She also is a big baseball fan and had the neatest baseball rose for a boutineer.  Jena incorporated rainbows in her attire since the couple are proud of their same sex union.  A Beautiful rainbow bracelet and petticoat was worn.  The two had a first look outside and even though it was quite cold that day, we worked fast and these two were troopers.  The couple’s two doggies, Tanner and Tito showed up for pics as well and were dressed to the nines.  After wedding party photos, the couple had rainbow smoke bombs that we let off in the back field for some neat pictures as well.  The couple were married indoors in the Fireplace ballroom in front of about 140 guests.  Guests then found their ways to the reception tables that were named after various baseball teams.  Lots of details in the Reception depicted the couple’s interests such as baseball, sparkle, and even a dog treat bar.  It was such a special day and we are honored that you both chose Hitlin Photography to capture your day.  Congrats again Michaela and Jena!
