Mallory & Dan, June 1, 2019, Century House
Mallory and Dan’s wedding day started at the Century House where both of them got ready. Mallory and her girls were finishing up hair and makeup when we arrived. Keith headed to Mallory’s mother-in-law’s room to photograph her dress as no other people besides her and Mallory had seen it. Dan got ready in another hotel room and gave each of his guys a personalized flask. Mallory got into her gown and was instantaneously transformed into a princess. This gown was a gorgeous candlelit satin color and had pockets (did we ever mention that we love pockets). The bride did a quick reveal with her bridesmaids before heading outside for a First Look with Dan. For portraits, the couple wanted some of Albany’s grand architecture, so we headed downtown and captured the couple and their wedding party at the NY Dept. of Ed building and the Capital building. The Freihofer Run for Woman was wrapping up from the morning festivities, but we were able to get around pretty effortlessly. We then all made our way back to the Century House where the couple were married in the front ballroom in front of the fireplace. One neat detail from the wedding was Mallory’s bouquet. It was made of her mom’s costume jewelry and was very sentimental to Mallory as her mom has passed. It was important to get many pictures with Mallory holding it as it truly represented her bond with her mom. The reception hall opened and guests shuffled in and had a great time dancing to songs played by DJ Scott Pallone and having fun getting their pictures taken at the photo booth. The couple also had a sparkler send off to finish out the evening. Thanks again Mallory and Dan for such a fun day. We are still in love with Mallory’s dress and have gotten so many compliments on it. You two have some beautiful wedding day images.
