Lindsay & Justin, November 20, 2020, Queensbury Hotel
We drove up the Northway to the Queenbury Hotel for the big day of Lindsay and Justin. The weather was cool, but mild as we pulled into the parking lot and met up with videographer, Kevin. We headed indoors to see Lindsay and her girls relaxing in the Bridal Prep. room. Hair and makeup were underway for most of the ladies, and Lindsay hung out and laughed with her girls as we started detail shots. Keith went upstairs to capture Justin and his guys finishing getting dressed before heading back to Lindsay for her to get into her gown. She had a quick first reveal with dad and then we set up the couple’s first look in the atrium. It’s been a few years since we’ve been back at the Queensbury Hotel, and they’ve done some renovating since we shot there last, so the atrium was a nice indoor space with natural lighting. We did some photos inside before taking the couple across the street to the park. The park was recently decorated with garland and red bows for the holidays and gave us some good space to do some portraits of the couple and even the wedding party photos before we did family back indoors. Everyone traveled over to Our Lady of Annunciation, the next town over to get ready for the ceremony. Lindsay and Justin were married in a Catholic Ceremony in front of an intimate group of family and friends. The sun had set during the ceremony, so we took some quick “moody” photos inside the church, which were so pretty. We returned back to the Queensbury Hotel where the Reception started immediately and the couple danced their first dance and their Parent Dances. Toasts to the couple were made and then the couple and their guests enjoyed dinner. Smile Lounge set up a photo booth and it gave guests a fun activity to partake in. The couple cut their wedding cake and cupcakes were packaged for guests to take home as a gift. We ended the evening with some night photos back out in the park. Congratulations again Lindsay and Justin and thank you for your trust in Hitlin Photography Inc for your big day. We wish you guys all the best!
