Beth and Mike met at law school. Mike was a TA for one of Beth’s classes. In February of 2019, Beth came home from a long day of work and sat down to chill in front of the TV. Mike came downstairs with a little box and said “I forgot that I got this for you.” Beth assumed it was something from Valentine’s Day, and when she opened the box, it was a customized view-finder with pictures of the two of them in it. Beth assuming it was a cute Valentine’s gift, looked quickly at 2 pics, and put it down and said thanks and continued to watch TV. Mike asked if she had looked at all of the pictures? Beth picked it up and proceeded to look through them all and came to the last slide, that had “will you marry me?” on it. Beth immediately started crying and asked if she was being punked. Later, Mike surprised Beth with having her parents come through the door, who live 2 hours away to celebrate with both of their families. Beth and Mike now live downstate and came back up to the Albany area for the holidays. We met in front of Albany Law School, where they first met to do 1/2 of their session and then headed down to the Empire Plaza and Capitol to capture some images with the couple with the NY State & Capitol Christmas Trees. We are looking forward to spending more time with them when we capture their Wedding Day in March 2022 at the Glen Sanders Mansion.
