Emily and Chris had a beautiful day for their Wedding in Troy, NY. We started the day at Emily’s childhood home where the girls got their hair and makeup done and mom and dad were busy making sure everyone was comfortable (even with a really hot day forecast). Emily had just finished hair and makeup and got dressed upstairs with the help of her mom and maid of honor. She descended down the stairs to meet her dad for a first reveal. We shot the girls on the front porch and then headed downtown to Troy to meet up with Chris and the guys at the Best Western Franklin Square for some Groom Prep. Chris’ mom and dad were on hand for some pics as well and after a toast from his guys, we all headed over to Our Lady of Victory Church. The couple were married in a Catholic Ceremony Mass in front of just over 200 guests. After the ceremony, guests congregated outside and blew bubbles for a grand exit for the Bride and Groom. We then made our way to Old Daley on Crooked Lake where everyone was greeted with a glass of bubbly. We headed outside for some pics of the Bride and Groom and then they entered a dance floor surrounded by all their loved ones for their first dance. The couple chose to have the dancing in the Fireplace room as the main ballroom was filled with gorgeous tables in white and baby blue linens. The Accents began to play and a dance party like none other surrounded the couple. We got to sneak outside for a few sunset shots and even went to our favorite room; the Oak Room for some night time images. The couple danced the night away and we absolutely love that the entire family got together to belt out “We Built This City” by Jefferson Starship as it is a family “thing.” We had such a blast with this couple. Congratulations to you both; Emily and Chris and wishing you many years of marital bliss.
