Amanda and Dan met at Verdile’s Restaurant in Troy.  Amanda was a hostess/cocktail waitress at the same time when Dan applied and began working as a server.  Verdile’s is s huge piece of their story and will always be family to these two.  They both still work part-time there.  After dating for a bit, Dan knew that Amanda was the girl for him.  He purchased a ring and the next day on New Year’s Eve, he proposed to Amanda.  He jokes that he had to get rid of the ring and do it right away.  These two love to go on randam getaway weekends to Boston and Syracuse  They love exploring cities and dining at new spots.  They spend all of their free time with their Doodle, Charlie, and boating with him on Saratoga Lake in the Summer.  Of course for their engagement session, we shot part of the session inside Verdile’s where it all started for these two.  I love the moodiness and intimacy of these images.  It was a rainy evening in Troy, but Amanda came prepared with the cutest umbrella for some amazing outside shots of the restaurant.  We even went down a few streets in Troy and met up with their dog; Charlie and handler for some pics with a separate change of clothing.  We can’t wait to celebrate Amanda and Dan’s big day in June 2022 at Riverstone Manor.  Also special shout out to Jessica Lafata and Taylor O’Malley-Jura for the amazing job they did on hair and makeup for Amanda for this session.  Check those wonderful stylists out; they’re amazing!
