We kicked off the beginning of August with a Double Header Wedding Weekend. We started the weekend with the wedding of Shannon and Jared. These two are super sweet, but the best part is they love our corny jokes and enjoy laughing a lot. We love couples that can let loose and have some fun on their wedding day. We had so much fun laughing during our Saratoga Springs Engagement Session with them and even joked a lot during their final consult, so we knew we’d have some fun for their big day. Shannon and her girls got ready over at the Best Western Franklin Square. Shannon popped the bubbly and enjoyed a toast with her girls in front of all of their gowns hung on the window. Hair and makeup finished up and she put on her gorgeous Essence of Australia gown. This gown has the coolest sheer layers and every time we fluffed it; it laid perfectly all day. We did the Bride and Bridesmaid photos in front of Franklin Plaza and then drove over to St. Augustine’s Church where we met up with Jared and his guys. The boys looked dapper in their suits and the two adorable ring bearers sported these cute sunglasses that read “Ring Security.” Shannon and her dad arrived in style in a black and white vintage Rolls Royce. The couple were married in a Catholic Ceremony at the church. Everyone departed and made their way to Franklin Plaza where we did some neat shots with the car and then worked on Wedding Party. During our couple portraits, these two were so giddy that they actually began dancing in the street. The two checked out their ballroom inside and lined up for guests were individual shots of tequila. The couple began the evening with a shot of their own before guests made their way into the room. It was such a fun party and the crowd danced and danced. We did sneak up to the roof quickly for some quick sunset shots but there was a birthday party going on up there and the lovely lady having the birthday got in for a quick photo with the couple while we were there. Shannon and Jared you were an absolute blast to party with and we had so much fun with you two throughout the day. Wishing you love, laughter and happily ever after!!
