Lynzie and Jon met through a friend when they were 15 and 16 years old.  They went to different high schools, but tried their best to see each other off and on.  They both played sports in high school and supported each other.  They basically grew up together.  Later, both attended Mohawk Valley Community College where they both played sports as well.  They ended up moving in together after graduation and acquiring jobs; being together 8 years.  Jon and Lynzie planned a trip to Disney World.  They were getting ready packing and Jon suggested they go out to dinner; which she thought was odd, as they had so much to do for their trip the next day.  Lynzie went to the kitchen and came out ready to leave and found Jon in the living room with flowers and a grin.  He proposed right there in their living room and they celebrated that night at dinner and the following week in Disney.  Lyzie is a die-hard Mets fan (knew we liked her, LOL) and Bengals Fan.  Jon loves the Yankees and is slowly turning into a Bengals fan himself.   They love watching sports together; especially Caitlin Clark with college basketball and football.  They love Disney World.  They have 2 black cats named Binx and Grogu honoring their  Disney love.  We met these two down at Blithewood Garden at the beautiful gardens there.  It was a beautiful night and we had some fun moving about and splashing in the fountain.  We can’t wait to celebrate these two on their wedding day in September 2025 at The Edison Downtown.
