So many of you know that Keith and I are from Columbia County but have transplanted closer to Albany. Hudson, NY will always hold a special place in our hearts and we are thrilled when we get a chance to head down to our old favorite locations. Funny enough, this couple right here is one of those couples we joke we know each of them through 6 degrees of separation. Elizabeth (aka Lizzie) is a cousin of one of Meg’s cousins (on the other side), and David is a family member of a family that Meg grew up with down the street and also the brother of Hitlin Alumni Kristen. It is so neat these two found each other. The two actually met through their mutual friend (and my cousin); Ryan. He set them up. They hit it off and dated a bit. David proposed to Lizzie one evening when him and his young daughter dressed up and created candle lit decor within their living room. David gave a heartfelt speech and then proposed. These two love getting outdoors and enjoy kayaking, swimming and hiking; especially with their dogs. They enjoy getting together with friends and family for card/game nights as well. We shot their engagement session down at Olana in Hudson. It will always be a special place to Keith and I, as we used to have lunch dates there when going to college. We can’t wait to capture this couple’s wedding day in August 2021 at Old Daley on Crooked Lake.

And even closer now
