Kayla & John, Inn at Erlowest, September 1, 2019

We had one busy day for Kayinla and John’s wedding back in September.  We’re so glad we had such a wonderful team of wedding professionals to help make Kayla and John’s big day one to remember.  Going into the day, we knew there would be lots to photograph and many details to capture.  We arrived with a plan and excited to have some fun with these two.  Kayla and her girls got ready in the Montcalm suite and bridal prep area at the Inn at Erlowest.  We were made aware as a surprise to the groom, that Kayla would be wearing 2 wedding gowns that day, so we were sure to photograph each with all of their own details.  The girls were finishing hair and makeup when we arrived.  Meanwhile, John and his guys were finishing getting dressed down at the Sun Castle Town homes.  Keith headed to them to capture some fun shots before coming back to the Inn for Kayla to get into her first gown.  The couple had a first look down by the water on the docks.  We did most of our photos with the couple, wedding party and family before Kayla went back upstairs to change and the boys took a boat ride on Miss. Erlowest.  It was so great working along side Inspired Occassions Wedding Planner, Taia Younis and her bridal attendant Kelli Gormley; who were on hand to make sure everyone got in place in time throughout the day.   Keith hung out with Kayla as she got into her 2nd gown and ready for the Ceremony.  Meg rode the boat with the boys and got a grand tour of Lake George before pulling in for the Ceremony past all the guests.  The couple were married lakeside in a gorgeous ceremony adorned with so many flowers designed by Surroundings Floral.  After the ceremony, we took the Bride and Groom back out on the boat for the couple’s pictures and ended back up at the Inn before they entered a private cocktail hour.  The Reception began in the main ballroom and heartfelt speeches were given by both the Bride and Groom’s fathers, as well as the Maid of Honor and Best Man.  The bride and groom made and announcement once it was dark for guests to head outdoors where they were gifted with a fabulous fireworks display over the lake.  DJ Mike Garrasi had all the guests on the dance floor and in their photo booth for the rest of the evening.  The large fathead faces of various celebrities made their way from the photo booth to the dance floor and made for funny photos.  The end of the evening was celebrated by an outdoor sparkler dance of the couple and everyone took home cider donuts as a parting gift.  Thank you Kayla and John for choosing Hitlin Photography Inc. to capture your most important day.  We wish you much love in your future together.
