Katie and Matt’s Wedding ended our 2023 season over at Franklin Plaza. The couple traveled from Chicago to get married where Katie grew up. Katie was finishing getting her hair and makeup done over at the Best Western Franklin Inn when Meg arrived. CW Events planner; Jordan made sure all the bride’s details were brought to Franklin Plaza’s bridal suite as the bride requested to get dressed at the venue. Keith shot the Bride’s details at the venue and then made his way to the hotel to meet up with Matt as he finished getting dressed. Both Bride and Groom opened gifts from each other and then Katie made her way across the street to get dressed. Her mom and sister were on hand to help Katie into her beautiful gown and then she had a first reveal with her dad and then brother before eventually having a First Look with her groom, Matt on Franklin’s 3rd Floor. We made our way outside for photos, but it was a chilly and quite breezy December day, so we worked fast before heading indoors for some family photos. The couple were married in Franklin’s grand ballroom next to a gorgeous tall Christmas tree. After the Ceremony, guests moved to the 2nd floor for Cocktail Hour and the couple were able to sneak away for a private moment together before greeting their guests. Reception began with the couple’s grand entrance and they danced a beautiful choreographed First dance to “Just the Way You Are,” by Billy Joel. After speeches, parent dances and dinner, the New York Players Band got guests up on their feet for some energetic dancing. It was such a fun day and evening. Thank you to Katie and Matt for sharing your big day with us. We had a ton of fun with you both and wish you much happiness in your married life together.
