Diana & Joe, November 30, 2019, Old Daley on Crooked Lake
We ended November with a cold, brisk day for Diana and Joe’s Wedding over at Old Daley on Crooked Lake. The coziness of Old Daley’s indoor spaces was most welcoming. It was beginning to look like Christmas in decor, and Diana and Joe had no problem snuggling up to each other for all of our pictures. We started the day bopping between both the Bridal and Groom suites where each were getting ready. Diana and her girls wore flannel shirts and cozy slippers, while the guys got dressed with the help of the couple’s dog, Hank. Hank is very much loved by his parents and Diana got to snuggle with him before she got into her gown. The couple had a first look in the front foyer and then we headed outside for some quick photos of the two of them. Diana had a gorgeous fur shawl and Hank even came out for a few pictures as well. The wedding party then proceeded outside and we ended our outdoor time with some “interesting shots” of the guys. The family were ready for photos when we made our way indoors and we used the beautifully decorated fireplace as a backdrop. The couple were married inside with an aisle adorned with candle lit lanterns. Hank played ring bearer and of course stole the show entering and exiting the ceremony. The Bride and Groom enjoyed cocktail hour while we shot details in the Reception Room. Surroundings Floral created beautiful floral pieces that sat on top of custom made hoops that hung from the ceiling beams. They were so interesting. The couple entered their Reception and had their first dance in front of guests before everyone took their seats and enjoyed the culinary delights of Old Daley. Later on, the dance floor was packed and the couple busted a move with all of their guests during a spin the bottle dance off. It was such a fun day. Thanks again Diana and Joe for having us share in your day. Wishing you much love in your future together.
