Colleen and Max met when they were both classmates in medical school. They formed a small group of friends. This group would go on outings and do activities together and Colleen planned most of them. Within the group, Colleen and Max’s friendship grew and Max eventually asked Colleen out on a date. Despite the stresses of med school, board exams and clerkships, they got closer in their relationship. Max has always loved puzzles and even performed magic for a short time. He and Colleen also have been learning archery recently. Max secretly constructed a box into a target. Inside the box, was a small sign saying “Will you marry me?” The couple wanted to show off their archery skills during the Pandemic to their closest friends, so they scheduled a Zoom call. In Colleen’s parent’s backyard, they started the Zoom call and Colleen shot 2 arrows into the box on the target. When she went to retrieve the arrows, the box opened revealing the secret message inside from Max. She was so surprised. This couple enjoys playing video games and hiking. We met up with them in Washington Park for their Engagement Session and had some fun not only with the beautiful foliage, but also with a bow and arrow set they brought to the session with them. We can’t wait to celebrate with these two on their Wedding Day in August 2022 at Old Daley on Crooked Lake.
