We had a fun day at the end of May with Carla and Rik over at Old Daley on Crooked Lake. Both the bride and groom got ready in the wedding suites upstairs. The groom has such a fun personality and showed up wearing a Talladega Nights inspired jacket. Carla had a first reveal with her dad before the couple saw each other for the first time outside. We did the couple’s portraits around the property but it did start to sprinkle. We moved to the front of the property and met the entire wedding party knowing they would still be covered. We also did the family pictures inside. The couple were married in front of the fireplace at Old Daley in front of around 230 guests. With the large guest count, dinner was set up in the main ballroom and the ceremony room was transformed into a dance room with The Accents band set up to perform. The Riky Bobby jacket made another appearance during the entrances into Reception then all the guests gathered around the couple for their first dance. After formalities we were able to slip outside for some dramatic blue hour photos and then after dinner everyone hit the dance floor. We had such a blast with you both; Carla and Rik.
