We kicked off October with an unbelievable warm Autumn Day for Betsy and Stephen’s Wedding at the NY State Museum. The couple kept everything within walking distance of their venue. Stephen and his guys got dressed in the Albany Hilton. We did some stuff in the hotel with them and then moved over a few streets to an Airbnb where Betsy and her girls were getting ready. Hair and Makeup were finishing up and then we headed outside to pop some bubbly. Betsy’s girls watched on as Betsy got into her gown with the help of her mom and then we took some quick pics of the girls before heading out to set up the First Look. The couple had their First Look near the Capital end of the Empire Plaza, then we moved around taking pics of some of Albany’s Iconic buildings as backdrops. Betsy’s dress had a hidden slit in the front so we were able to do some different poses with her. It was a great dress for her. We met up with the Wedding Party and continued to shoot at the Plaza ending on the Museum steps. We got ready for the Ceremony and guests arrived to a beautiful set up out on the terrace. Betsy & Stephen were married in front of over 130 guests and then everyone moved indoors for Cocktail Hour. We shot some quick early evening shots to capture the changing light and sky. The Reception was held on the 4th floor of the NY State Museum and 2Shea Catering did a fabulous job with food and drinks. DJ Mike Reilly got everyone dancing and later on we quickly shot some pics outside with the couple and the purple lit Empire Plaza for some gorgeous night shots. We had such a fun day with you both; Betsy and Stephen and congrats again on a gorgeous wedding day and officially tying the knot!
