Tara and Scott probably win the award of traveling the furthest for their wedding day with us. The couple reside in England and Tara grew up in upstate NY and wanted her wedding near her hometown. The couple probably accrued many sky miles for their numerous trips back and forth to the states for their planning. They even were in our area in the spring for their engagement pictures with us. We feel really lucky to have been picked by Tara and Scott. These two just make you want to smile. Tara is the sister of #hitlinweddingalumni, Caitlyn who was married in 2017. We hit it off with Tara immediately as she was her sister’s maid of honor. Then she introduced us to Scott and his British accent and down to Earth demeanor captivated us and we knew we’d have some fun with these guys. Their Wedding Day was perfect. We met Tara and her girls at the Pavilion Grand Hotel. Tara put on her gorgeous gown with the help of her mom and sisters and then got into a vintage Rolls Royce to head to Congress Park to meet her Groom. We met Scott; who looked so handsome in his tail coat, and the couple had their first look on the front side of the Canfield Casino. It was a beautiful weather day and Congress Park was full of people. We moved about for some sunny fall photos and then headed inside to get ready for the ceremony. The couple was married in front of about 185 people; many who had traveled across the Atlantic Ocean for the big day. It was a lovely ceremony. The couple headed back outside with us near the end of Cocktail hour for golden hour photos, which turned into Rainbow pictures. It amazes me how lucky we’ve been to capture some weddings with rainbows. We even had access to the carousel for some fun pictures as well. DJ Nick Maddalone welcomed everyone into the grand ballroom and the couple dazzled everyone with a perfectly choreographed first dance. There were some funny and really moving speeches and then everyone got up and filled the dance floor for the rest of the night. It was such a perfect day for these two. Thank you so much Tara and Scott for the honor of photographing one of the best days of your lives. We adore you and wish you so much happiness and love and if we’re ever in London again; we’re looking you two up and getting a pint.
