Sarah & Chris’ Engagement SessionAlbany NY Wedding Photography

Sarah and Chris are getting married in December of this year and wanted their Engagement Shoot to have a different season feel than that of when they will be married.  We were so glad that we booked a day with them when it was not raining.  I mean we’ve had enough rain, right?  We headed down to their neck of the woods, Kingston, which just so happened to be some of Keith’s old stomping grounds.  Back in the day, Keith worked as a staff photographer for The Daily Freeman in Kingston, and it was a good thing, cause he definitely knew the area well.  We started at the historic Senate House (did you know that Kingston was the first capital of NY state?) and then walked downtown for a bit, and ended down at the “strand.”

Sarah and Chris were so fun to work with and we look forward to their end of year wedding at the Century House in Latham, NY.

The Senate House has such cool exposed brick.

In love with those ring shots!

Took a stroll over to one of their favorite hang-out spots for a few pics.

So, Sarah had a suggestion to take some photos in front of this cool mural downtown.  I have to admit, it was pretty cool.  We had a lot of laughs down there.

Especially, when we decided to take some photos in front of Ron Swanson from “Parks and Recreation.”  It was hard to keep a straight face; LOL!

JUST LOVE what we came across on our walk downtown.  A cute cafe table, a wicked front step entrance and a farmer’s market in progress.

Down at “the strand” we got some great shots inside and outside of Mariner’s Harbor House and the water.  Isn’t that pic in front of the cobalt blue bottles killer?

  1. These photographs are stunning. My fave is the one with the brick path leading into the distance. They are just lovely!
