Michele and John met the summer before their senior year of college in NYC when they were both visiting different friends from Holy Cross who happened to be roommates. When they returned to campus a few weeks later, they bumped into each other, and started to see each other off and on. In May of 2018, they had a good couple of days where neither of them had any school work and decided to take a trip to all the places listed in two of their favorite songs; “Country Roads” and “Wagon Wheel.” John proposed to Michele on their first night in their AirBnB that they had rented since his initial plan of the famous landmark; the Roanoke Star in VA was snuffed by too many teenage tourists hanging about. These two enjoy hiking, heading to lakes and concerts and hitting up local farmer’s markets and eating brunch on the weekends together.
We shot their engagement session in Washington Park. The buds on the trees were gorgeous and the tulips were beginning to be mobbed with many onlookers, but we found some amazing spots to have some fun. Their big day is coming up in December of this year in Albany and we’ll be celebrating at 60 State Place. We can’t wait!
