Mariana & Alex, October 29, 2017, Glen Sanders Mansion
#OnceUponaNeal
On this wedding day, the forecast called for lots of rain, so we came prepared. We did what we did best. We had a plan and had to alter it because of the weather. The day still went smooth and turned out amazing. Mariana and her girls got ready at Glen Sanders Mansion in the Mohawk Room before moving to the bridal suite. Alex was in another hotel room getting ready himself. Both Keith and I split up and captured prep before us both being with the Bride when she got dressed. It was raining very heavy, so we moved the originally planned first look which was to take place at the Stockade, and did it indoors at Glen Sanders. As we finished, the skies started to open and the rain turned into more of mist. We ventured outside. The rain had pulled so many leaves off the trees, but made for great backdrops with many now being on the ground. The wet leaves also popped and it made for more colorful scenes. We were able to get in photos of not only the Mansion, but did go to the Stockade and get some great stuff and then returned back just as it began to rain again. Mariana and Alex were married indoors at the Mansion. The reception was in the main ballroom and the couple surprised their guests with a classic choreographed first dance that broke into a HOT choreographed Salsa routine. It turned out to be such a great day.
Mariana and Alex, you had one special day and we had such a blast hanging out with you both. Wishing you lots of love and happiness!

So this couple took dance lessons and danced a classic first dance, AND THEN as they finished, they broke into a SALSA!! The guests were quite surprised and it was AWESOME!
Instead of cake, they cut their favorite dessert, peanut butter pie
So for the rest of the day, it rained, A LOT. We had to get an amazing rain shot. This came out SPECTACULAR!
A sparkler ending
