Lauren & Pat’s Old Daley Inn, Crooked Lake House Wedding Rensselaer County NY Wedding Photographer

Lauren and Pat live in Massachussettes, and Lauren’s work sometimes brings her to the Albany region (which she used to lived in). When we met up with Lauren solo for her wedding consult, we could tell right off the bat how excited she was to be getting married.  If there was any one Bride who gets an “Organized Award,” that would be Lauren.  She knew EXACTLY what she wanted to her big day.   A couple months after they booked with us, we met up again when she was in town and we got the chance to meet Pat.  Lauren just seemed to “glow” around him.  The excitement from the two of them was electric.  Their big day showcased this, especially when Lauren literally jumped up and down as the officiate came close to pronouncing them husband and wife during the ceremony.

They have such a great family and group of friends.  Lauren’s sister (Matron-of-Honor) Rachel, did a stellar job getting her sister ready and was her go-to for the entire day.  The couple were married lakeside at the beautiful Old Daley Inn on Crooked Lake; which is ALWAYS amazing to shoot at.  Marty, Janice and their staff at Crooked Lake really KNOW how to do a wedding.  Marty (who is known in the business for his cool shoes), found a twin in Groom Pat and even posed for a shoe pic with him.  The dance floor during the reception, was seriously bouncing as Brian from Piano Man DJ Productions played crowd favorites.  The dance floor even became a “spin-the-bottle” dance off when someone placed a bottle on the floor and when it pointed to you, you would get in the middle and dance.  Low and behold, Meghan, who was shooting dance pics at the time, had the bottle aim right at her.  Do you think she danced?  You bet, she did.

It was such an awesome day and Lauren and Pat were so amazing to work with.  Thanks again for choosing us for your Wedding photogs!
