Kara and Michael met when they both were working together at the Wagon Train BBQ. They started off as great friends being coworkers. They went with other coworkers to a Jerrod Neiman concert and then started hanging out after that. They would often watch the Walking Dead together and play Call of Duty together as well. They quickly became best friends and fell in love. The couple went on a weekend trip to Lake Placid in October 2018 to celebrate Kara’s birthday. They went exploring looking for fall foliage. They set up Mike’s GoPro to take a picture of themselves with the lake in the background and Mike took the opportunity to get down on one knee and pop the question. The proposal is still on video. These two enjoy the outdoors hiking and hitting up various lakes and watering holes. They love music and sometimes when Mike goes fishing, Kara tags along. Of course for their engagement session, we headed to where it all began for these two; the Wagon Train BBQ. It was neat to have the place to ourselves and the decor is so interesting. We then did their second half of their session in Collins Park. We can’t wait to capture their big day in May 2020 at the Albany Country Club.
Cheers!
