Emily and Ryan both went to grade school together.  Ryan was a basketball and football player and Emily was a cheerleader for both of those teams.  The were in the same friend group since middle school and started officially dating the summer between 10th and 11th grade.  Their relationship evolved over the years and they booked a couple of nights to stay in an Adirondack lodge up near Lake George.  They had plans to visit the Lake George Ice Castles during their stay; which Emily instantly thought a proposal may be in the works there.  It was a decoy.  Ryan had taken the day off of work the day before their trip and him and his mom went up and decorated the lodge.  When Emily arrived with Ryan, Ryan had to pretend it was his 1st time seeing it.  As they walked through the front door, Emily was so surprised to see the whole thing decorated.  The cat was then out of the bag and Ryan proposed right there.  These two share a love dogs, country music, NFL football and traveling together.  We scheduled a sunflower engagement session with them up at Herrington’s Pumpkins and we just love the sunniness of these images.  We can’t wait to be with them on their Wedding Day capturing their smiles again in July 2024 at Franklin Plaza.
