Carla and Rik have known each other for years. Rik began working at the Dutchaven Golf Course and Carla would go in. They reconnected and eventually fell in love. These two take a trip to Florida every year to visit Rik’s parents. They love going down there and it’s one of their favorite vacation spots. They were on the beach at an inlet in Jupiter, FL where they love to swim and snorkel at. Rik proposed right there. The couple enjoy snowboarding and skiing in the winter and hiking, golfing and farm life in the warmer months. We met these two at a private residence in Hoosick Falls. What a gorgeous spot. The white barn and tall grass lent to some amazing backdrops; let alone this gorgeous couple were so fun to photograph. We can’t wait to spend more time with them during their wedding in May of 2023 at Old Daley on Crooked Lake.
