Caitlin & Sean, January 18, 2020, 90 State Events, Albany, NY
When we had our final consult with the couple, Bride; Caitlin told us how all she wanted on her wedding day was snow. Well this couple definitely got what they asked for as we hadn’t had a snow storm in the Capital Region for a few weeks but it decided to snow that day. It was bitterly cold as well and as we packed our gear, we threw hand warmers and gloves, scarves, and hats into the car as we proceeded to the Albany Hilton for Bride Prep. Caitlin and her girls were getting their hair and makeup done when we arrived. The ladies were a fun bunch and had some fun opening their gifts from the bride and playing with these tiny plastic hands that made more than one appearance throughout the day. The day of, Sean had hundreds of red roses delivered to Caitlin’s hotel room and they were all over. Caitlin got dressed with the help of her mom and we fell in love with her gorgeous gown and shoes; which were very unique. Caitlin’s dad came in for a first reveal of his daughter and then we left the girls and made our way to the church. It had started to lightly flurry at this point and when we arrived at the church, Sean and his guys arrived shortly after and we helped pin on boutonieers. The couple were married in a Catholic Ceremony at Sacred Heart in Castleton. During the ceremony, the snow really started to come down and by the time we left the church, we really had to take our time on the roads, as they were getting covered. We stopped at the NY State Capital for some very snowy pictures. Cait and Sean were all for it and we love how they gifted each girl with a fur shawl and guy with a plaid scarf. They came in handy. We had so much fun in the snow and then made our way to 90 State Events. Venue Manager, Amanda knew the Bride from college and was on hand with another one of our favorite people, coordinator Manny to make sure everything was perfect at the venue. We took some more pictures in the bank vault and we love how this couple brought their goofy card on the day of. Some of the pictures in there, are truly funny and attendant Donna even stepped in for a fun photo. Them Bones band played a funky play list as couples danced and had so much fun for the rest of the evening. We even snuck outside on the street for an EPIC snow shot as well. It was a very memorable day, Caitlin and Sean. One we will never forget. Thanks for the fun times and the bravery of snow and cold temps. You two are ROCK STARS!!! Congrats again, guys!
