Chelsea and Mike met on a dating app. After chatting briefly through the app, Mike asked to meet up for coffee. Chelsea had to reschedule a few times, but Mike was patient and when they finally had their first date at Uncommon Grounds in Saratoga, then took a walk through Congress Park; they knew something clicked. On a hot July evening, Chelsea and Mike went to her parent’s house for a weekly dinner with her dad; a tradition that began after Chelsea’s mother passed. Mike persuaded Chelsea to join him outside of the house with the family dog; Winston. Once outside, Mike got on his knee and surprised her by proposing. Chelsea’s dad attempted to capture the moment with his cell phone and had champagne chilling in the house to celebrate. We spent an evening with these two in Congress Park along with some ducks for their engagement session. We can’t wait to hang out again and capture their wedding this November at Franklin Plaza.
