Maggie & Ted, November 12, 2016, Old Daley on Crooked Lake
Maggie and Ted kicked off our “winter weddings” in 2016. We met Maggie and her girls at her parent’s home that looks out over the Hudson River. The girls were relaxing wearing matching plaid shirts and Maggie was busy in the hair and makeup chairs. Maggie thought of every detail and we had so much to photograph, from the hand-made schedule, to an original baby bonnet turned into a hankie, and smiles galore from all the girls just hanging out. Once Maggie was dressed, we went outdoors to take some photos of the girls near this beautiful Maple tree that miraculously still had leaves and some color. We then traveled over to Old Daley on Crooked Lake, where Ted eagerly waited for the First Look. After the couple saw each other for the first time, we had some fun utilizing Old Daley’s beautiful property before the early sunset time and got so many photos before the ceremony. The candlelit ceremony took place in Old Daley’s Fireplace Room and was filled with tears and laughter. After cocktail hour, guests entered the main ballroom and were treated to DJ , Matt Bernier, who not only DJ’ed but also played the Sax and sang most songs. What a talent!
Maggie and Ted, you had one beautiful day and we were honored to be able to capture it with you. You were so much fun and we still laugh about our conversations when we were photographing you two. Hoping you have a healthy, long marriage.
