Katie & Andrew, December 15, 2018, Franklin Plaza

We were so excited to wrap up our 10th Year of Weddings at one of our favorite venues; Franklin Plaza, for the wedding of Katie and Andrew.  The couple were married first in a Chinese wedding and then celebrated their American wedding in Troy a few weeks ago.  Katie and her girls got ready at the Best Western Franklin Square in the bridal suite.  We love this room as it is so spacious.  Katie finished makeup when we arrived and we bumped into good friend Melissa from Poppytree Floral delivering flowers.  Keith headed downstairs to the guys who were getting dressed and then opening groomsmen gifts.  After Katie slipped into her gown, we set up the First Look in front of Franklin where they couple saw each other for the first time.  It was a cold December day, but Katie came prepared with the most gorgeous white coat that fit perfectly over her gown.  We walked around downtown a bit for some pictures before heading up to the roof of Franklin to meet the Wedding Party and family.  The couple were married in the ballroom in a beautiful candle lit ceremony.  The room was then transformed during cocktail hour and we snuck the couple downstairs for some pics in the reception area.  Guests danced and had a ton of fun, while an amazing dessert table filled with Cider Belly Donuts and Cheesecake from Cheesecake Machismo was displayed in the back.  It was a lovely winter wedding and we had so much fun.  Thank you Katie and Andrew for smiling all day for us and letting us capture your wedding.
