Rachel & Ajay’s Riverstone Manor Wedding Schenectady, NY Wedding Photographer

Rachel and Ajay had one of those weddings where we as photographers look back and think, WOW that day seriously went off without a hitch!  Not only were the two an AWESOME couple who had killer personalities, but their chosen team of vendors were some of the best we’ve had the chance to work with.

We started the day at Rachel’s mom’s house in Amsterdam, where the girls were laid back, dancing to music, sipping some cocktails and getting all glammed up for the big show.  Rachel was cool, calm, and collected and her enthusiasm was absolutely ELECTRIC!  Molly Gilbert from Molly Makeup Artist and Rachel’s good friend, Yeliza Garcia dolled these girls up.  Everyone looked radiant.  The bridesmaids wore handmade tanks that specified “Team Bride” but also on the backs together spelled out Y.O.L.O.! (if you don’t know what that means-look it up).  The fabulous team of Dan and Jaime Ross from Best Bytes Media also tagged along with us throughout the day and made our day so much fun!  These two are GREAT!

We headed over to the beautiful Riverstone Manor to meet up with Ajay and his guys.  When we got there, they were checking out the reception space which was magically transformed into the theme of “A Mid-Summer’s Night Dream” by the outstanding Michelle Dischiavo and her team from Intuition Event Coordination and Design.  We LOVE working at Riverstone, cause general manager Skip keeps everything ship-shape and makes sure everything is PERFECT!

The couple were married riverside as the sun was setting over the trees by The Honorable Caroline C. Sever.  The party continued into the night compliments of the musical stylings of Don Duncan (Ajay’s dad) and the Electric City Horns.  It was an absolutely AMAZING day and Rachel and Ajay made us feel like we were such an important part.  We wish you two many years of marital bliss and happiness!
