Mackenzie & Linnea’s Old Daley Inn on Crooked Lake Wedding Rensselaer County NY Wedding Photographer

We wrapped up our amazing 2014 Wedding year with the absolutely gorgeous wedding of Mackenzie and Linnea at the Old Daley in on Crooked Lake.  Being there at Crooked Lake a week earlier for our previous wedding was a challenge, but we always strive to make each wedding unique; even if it is at the same venue.  I can’t say enough about Old Daley Inn.  It is one of our favorite wedding venues to work at and their staff all go above and beyond.  Let’s chat about Mackenzie and Linnea.  These two are constantly beaming with happiness.  You just want to smile when you are around them and let me tell you, their family ROCKS.  Seriously the love these two families have is so evident and it was so amazing to see the two come together for this joyous union.  Each girl arrived separately at Old Daley Inn after having their hair and makeup done.  We first met up with Mackenzie who got ready in the Bridal suite.  Prior to her arrival, we photographed each of the Brides’ details.  We immediately fell in love with their matching Toms and coordinating Hunter rain boots.  The added touch of homemade mittens were such a great accessory as well.  When Linnea arrived, we bopped between both suites getting the girls’ prep shots.  The first look was done outdoors which was warm for a December afternoon.  The snow from the last wedding had melted, and the ground was wet, so we were very glad each girl had their Hunter boots to change into.  The couple were married indoors in front of the fireplace and literally almost every member of their families had a part in the ceremony (from both parents walking each girl in, to various readings, and even singing).  It was beautiful!  The couple and their guests danced the night away to their cousin’s band of amazingly talented friends.  It was truly a spectacular day.  Mackenzie and Linnea, we wish you peace, love, and all the happiness in the world!  Thank you for allowing us to share in your very special day!

  1. I teach with Mackenzie and I have a side business called Krista’s Kreations. Mackenzie asked me to do the chalkboard for choose a seat not a side. Could you possibly send me a copy of the pic with the chalkboard sign in it? I’d love to post it on my FB page….Krista’s Kreations.

  2. Hi Linnea – you and MacKenzie look so beautiful and happy, as does everyone attending! You may not remember me from Starbucks, but I remember what a kind and generous person you are, without affectation, and I am glad that Holly shared her comments on FB so I could learn of this special day in your life. My very best wishes to you both. Jan Johnstone

  3. Love is such a beautiful thing to find. May the path of life finds you many adventures. You both look magical.
    Enjoy Life !!
    Andrea
