Kate & Jason, March 18, 2016, The Century House, Latham, NY
Kate and Jason had their perfect day at the Century House in Latham, NY. The two infused bits and pieces of their unique interests into their wedding. The two are big fans of the TV series Game of Thrones and actually own their own midieval swords. They also enjoy whiskey, and directly after their first look, toasted each other with a glass of their favorite brand. Little touches here and there really made the day their own. Both Bride and Groom got ready on site and had a first look in a private dining room. Being a brisk March day, Kate came prepared with a gorgeous stole that kept her warm as we moved about the property. They were married indoors and were sung to by Kate’s sister as the ceremony began. Each of their families took part and played a role. The reception began directly after cocktail hour, which included a whiskey bar and whiskey sours in the couples’ honor. DJ Mike Garrasi opened the dance floor to all guests who couldn’t get enough dancing and filled the floor the entire evening.
Thanks so much Kate and Jason for sharing your beautiful day, and even trusting Meg to hold of one your swords ;). We had so much fun with you and wish you all the best!
