2013 was DEFINITELY a busy YEAR for Keith Hitlin Photography! We had the most weddings than any other year. We LOVE how we went on through right to the end of the year. FYI Potential Brides and Grooms; don’t discount November and December for a wedding! Sometimes braving the cold and possibly a little snow here and there can enhance your day, picture-wise.
Devin and Bryan met at a mutual friend’s party. They both LOVE Thatcher Park. We did their E-Session up there a couple of month’s ago (see first pic). From what we hear, the proposal went down like this: Devin is not much a winter sports person, but Bryan is. Supposedly Bryan brought Devin to Thatcher Park one winter day to snowboard and possibly ice skate. Devin wanted nothing to do with it, but Bryan coaxed her out of the car and then got on one knee right there in the snow and proposed.
Devin and Bryan were married on a VERY cold day at the end of November at the Century House in Latham, NY. We walked into the bridal suite and Devin was a little on the nervous side (check out that pic in the first collage of her checking her pulse). We obviously started cracking jokes with her and she loosened up. We did their first look at their ceremony location in one of the Century House’s Ballrooms. One thing to keep in mind if you are getting married during the Winter is that sunrise is quite early, so a first look is a really smart choice if you want outdoor daylight pics.
The couple were married in front of their family and close friends and then partied the night away in an adjacent ballroom. Leslie Myer and her staff at Century House are really top notch and did such an amazing job. We also worked along side one of our favorite DJs, Fernando Bustamante from Piano Man/Conway Entertainment. It was a blast and I swear Devin and Bryan were on the dance floor for practically every song.
We had a wonderful time with you Devin and Bryan and we wish you both all the happiness in the world!!

One of the most beautiful couples I’ve ever seen and the most beautiful photos.
I have only known, Bryan and Devin for about 1 and a half years. They are the Most Wonderful couple I have seen in a very long time! Devin is sweet and beautiful in such a quiet way. Bryan is so hard working and attentive towards Devin. This is the way two people in love should be… They are a breath of fresh air!
Love both of you,
Chrissie
