Christie & CJ had a jam packed wedding day. It’s a great thing they had a great transportation team to move everyone from place to place. We started the day at the couple’s home where the guys were getting ready. I have to say this was a great choice for the guys since one room in the house is dedicated to a pool table and the basement has a stocked bar and poker table (a guy’s paradise). After getting some neat shots of the guys and CJ getting dressed, we then headed over to Christie’s parent’s house where the girls had just arrived from getting their hair and makeup done. Christie is such a sweet person and was as calm as could be when we arrived. We quickly got to work on details and met up with our good friend, Al Woodard who captured the day through video. After Christie was dressed, we did some portraits of the girls and then moved to our First Look location down at Jennings Landing in Albany to meet up with the guys. The trees were really starting to turn and the air was getting cooler by the minute and when Christie arrived, the couple shared in a First Look. We did some portraits near the water, then everyone gathered in the limo to head over to St. Peter’s Episcopal Church for the Ceremony. A gorgeous Catholic Mass Ceremony was attended by over 190 guests. Reception was held later in the evening at Old Daley on Crooked Lake. The Wedding Party arrived before guests and we were able to capture some unique images out by the lake as rain started to fall. Our favorite shot of the day is of the couple by their outdoor bonfire in the rain. This crowd was full of partiers and it is evident how much love surrounds this couple.
