It was a very cold, wintry day for the wedding of Ashley and Chuck. It didn’t bother the two of them one bit, since the two are outdoor sport fanatics. The couple love skiing and snowboarding and even planned their Honeymoon for Jackson Hole, WY. So a little snow and cold worked in their favor. We met up with the couple at the Holiday Inn Express in East Greenbush, where makeup and hair was being done on the girls. The guys; just a few doors down; were busy getting dressed themselves, which helped so much for getting both Bride and Groom prep. shots. The girls then headed over to the Old Daley Inn on Crooked Lake, where Ashley got into her gorgeous gown. Chuck soon arrived shortly after and we did their First Look right in front of Crooked Lake’s beautiful wooden entrance. I have to say, the reflection of the snow really gives such a beautiful light to skin tones. Ashley and Chuck, being the avid outdoor adventurers they are, brought some serious snow boots and actually wanted to be out in the snow for pictures. We very carefully made out way down the stairs and right out onto Crooked Lake. The sun was high and bright and we were so pleased the couple were willing to do this to get some amazing shots. After their indoor ceremony in front of the fireplace, the couple partied with their guests dancing to tunes played by our good friend Mike Garrasi of Music Man Entertainment.
Thanks again to Ashley and Chuck for being our winter troopers and for allowing us to capture your most important day of becoming husband and wife. We can’t wait to see those pics from Jackson Hole ;)!
