Kristina and Matt have a really neat engagement story. It goes like this: (as told by Kristina) A tradition of ours has always been to give each other a Christmas ornament and decorate the Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving. On November 30th, we were putting up our Christmas tree when Matt told me that he had his Christmas ornament for me, but I had to close my eyes and stand in front of the tree. Anticipating that something significant was about to happen, I got a little nervous. Matt ended up placing a gigantic blue bulb in the center of the tree that had a hand-written note stating, “Kristina, will you marry me?” As I opened my eyes, I saw the ornament and couldn’t believe what I was seeing. I turned around to see Matt on one knee with the ring in his hand.
We had a bunch of fun with these two for their E-Session. We began at the NY State Museum‘s famous carousel since these two just love carousels. We then hopped over to Washington Park to capture some more images with the beautiful foll foliage. We can’t wait to spend the day with these two again next July for their Mohawk River Country Club and Chateau wedding!
We’ve shot at this carousel many times and it never gets old ;).
