We were stoked when Gretchen and Brendan contacted us to inquire about photographing their wedding. Ya see, this is our third wedding with Gretchen’s family (previously shooting sisters Carolyn and Brady’s weddings) and we are seriously in love with this family. We’ve shot many milestones for the Freund family; be it weddings, newborns, and family sessions; we just knew Gretchen and Brendan’s wedding would be filled with love.
Gretchen, Brendan, and their entire wedding party got ready at the Historic Stockade Inn in Schenectady. This place is so neat with all the interesting wooden banisters and antique light fixtures. The First Reformed Church where they were married was just across the street and was great for letting us capture some of the Bride and Groom walking to their ceremony (rare case for many weddings). After a beautiful ceremony, we took advantage of the interesting Stockade section for some photos and then headed back to the Stockade Inn for their reception. Nick Madalone and DJ Caroline from Cool Cat Entertainment literally ROCKED the house and were so much fun dancing with the guests. Gretchen and Brendan thanks for choosing KHP for your big day. We had a blast with you two and wish you a very happy and long marriage.
