Laura and Nick were married at the Mohawk River Country Club and Chateau on a beautiful autumn day. We began up in the beautiful bridal suite where Laura and her girls were getting ready, having their hair and makeup done, and just hanging out listening to an IPod. Laura was busy making mimosas and almost seemed to glow in her powder pink bath robe. As we moved around the room capturing details, we spotted a print out of our official Keith Hitlin Photography Itinerary that we draw up for every Bride and Groom of ours. We loved seeing it out in the open!
Lauren and Jeremy from LaRose Media were there to capture the entire day on video. The entire team headed to the back of the country club where Nick patiently waited for the first look. The look on Nick’s face when he saw Laura was priceless. These two couldn’t stop smiling since the moment they laid eyes on each other.
Monsignor Christopher Richard conducted a beautiful and meaningful ceremony and DJ Fernando Bustamante played some excellent choices for the ceremony’s processional and recessional. Debbie from Mohawk River then ushered all the guests into their elaborate Cocktail Hour. I have to say, Mohawk River knows how to do cocktail hour. Not only was there the typical array of finger foods and passed hors dorves, but there was a saute pasta station, a small steak station and even a beautifully displayed champagne station. Hard to compete with that!
We got the chance to take some golf carts and head out on the beautiful grounds where we captured the sunset just before it was gone. This place has some beautiful light at this time of day and we definitely have our favorite spots to go to.
DJ Fernando got the party rolling as usual and guests had a blast following his dance moves and using all of his fun prop give aways. Out in the bar area, Tony Gibson from Time Capsule Photo Booths led guests into his photo booth to capture some fun images to give to the Bride and Groom. Oh and did I mention the dessert room? Not only is Mohawk River CC known for their cocktail hour, but their dessert room is top notch.
It was a stellar day and we had so much fun with both Laura and Nick. This couple knows how to party and we were so honored to be there to shoot their wedding day. Best wishes Laura and Nick and here’s to many years of a loving marriage!!
LOL, Laura got this cup from Dunkin Donuts as she drove to the venue to get ready!
Love the wrestler belts guys!
