Victoria & Tony, April 6, 2018, Old Daley on Crooked Lake
What a wedding day this turned out to be! Victoria and Tony were originally set to have their wedding on May 4th this year. However, the Bride’s brother quickly learned that he would be depolyed soon in the military and the date had to be changed. We were thrilled we were still available for the new date as we really wanted to photograph this couple’s wedding after their initial consult with Victoria and her mom and grandmother. We hit it off right from the first time we met; and we even like to think we impressed the matriarchs of the family as well ;). Their big day called for some light showers, so we came prepared as always. When we greeted Victoria in her suite, we saw her dress for the first time. WOWZA! This dress was unlike any others we’ve seen and she chose pink!! We knew right away the attention to detail would be there for the rest of the day. Victoria is a jewelry designer and of course designed her own wedding ring. Actually both her and Tony met learning the trade of metal work. The couple had a first look outside and then some snow flurries mixed with a light sprinkle and made for some great outdoor shots. The day was so fun and we had the most helpful wedding party and both sets of parents were amazing to work for as they treated us like part of the family. The couple were married in the Fireplace room and then guests partied all night in the grand ballroom. It was truly a magical day!
