The Wedding of Jennifer & Brian, East Greenbush, NY

So this Wedding post has an interesting back story with how we met Brian and Jenn.  About 2 years ago, we took our boys to the Drive-In to see Toy Story 3.  Waiting for the movie to start, Keith was throwing around a ball with our one son, when two couples in the car next to us joined in.  They were super nice and were so good to Ethan.  We got talking with the one couple (Jenn and Brian)  and told them what we do and handed them our card.

About a year later, our other son Mason was having a difficult time breathing and his doctor recommended we get a nebulizer.  The company van who delivers the medical equipment pulls into our driveway and out pops Brian to deliver it.  Keith and Brian looked at one another and tried to figure out how they knew each other.  They couldn’t figure it out.

A few months after that, we get an email from a couple that found our Photography Business listed online and wanted to sit down for a Wedding Consult.  Low and Behold, it was Brian and Jenn!  You should have seen the look on them when they came face to face with Keith.  It DEFINITELY is a small world!

Anywho, let’s get to the couple who we are featuring.  Jenn and Brian were married at the Schodack Island State Park.  The weatherman had predicted rain for the day and everyone crossed their fingers that it would hold off till after the ceremony.  Lucky enough, it did.  The ceremony was river-side and Jenn was beaming!  We did all of their portrait shots there and even jumped over to the park’s playground to get some fun group shots with the entire wedding party.

The Albany Trolley Company transported the entire group to the reception, but made a brief stop in Castleton.  Brian is active volunteer fire fighter for the Castleton Fire Company.  The members of the fire house were nice enough to put up a sign congratulating the two as a surprise.  The trolley then headed to The Comfort Inn and Suites in East Greenbush for the reception.  DJ Jack Bougarski got the night rocking and even played a joke on the couple using keys (you’ll have to ask Jen or Brian).  Talk of the Town Caterers made a delicious spread and an aunt made the elaborate 4-tier cake.

Jenn and Brian we are so happy for the two of you and can’t wait till you POP UP in our lives again!  Congrats!

A Facebook message that Brian put out there on the Wedding day.  This is the first time Jen is seeing it.

I told you she was beaming!

LOVE THIS!  This is just Jen with both of us alone in the elevator.  The look on her face is priceless!

Kisses on the head from mom

Meg caught Brian practicing his vows before the ceremony.

This wedding party was a BLAST to work with!
