Laughter is seriously the spice of life! You definitely have to have a good sense of humor in this business. It helps our day run smoothly and puts anxious brides and nervous grooms at ease. Courtney and Guthrie, along with their wedding party were all about cracking jokes and being goofy. It made our job EASY!
Courtney is a native of the area, but currently live in Colorodo with Guthrie, where she is studying for her doctorate. Through many emails and phone conversations we set out plans for her wedding day.
The two were wed in a beautiful wooded ceremony at Crystal Cove in Averill Park. The weather was HOT, but the trees helped break the heat with their glorious shade. Courtney was radiant as she walked down the aisle with her dad to meet Guthrie at the alter.
After the ceremony, the crowd headed up to an enclosed pavillion where the reception was held and DJ Joey G provided musical entertainment for the evening. We snuck the bridal party out for some fun pics on a dock and then got the chance to capture some alone time with the newly married couple.
Little details were scattered though out the day. From the really cool centerpieces of pictures of local Schenectady restaurants to a handmade sculpture of the bride and groom done by the groom’s mother on top of the cake, our cameras were continuously shooting capturing everything. The night concluded with the entire wedding heading down to the beach to light sparklers. It was AMAZING!
Thanks again to Courtney, Guthrie and their families for allowing Keith and I to join in your memorable day. Blessings to the two of you for a long and happy marriage!
