Stefanie and Dan got married on one of those cold December days. We were really excited for this wedding since Keith and the Bride, Stefanie went to high school together. It is so neat when we get the chance to capture a past friend’s special day and rekindle our friendships with them. We just fell in love with Dan’s personality when we met up with the engaged couple down in Rhinebeck for their E-Session a few months ago (see pic below). We knew that he and Stef were meant to be.
We began the wedding day at their home in Rhinebeck, where Stef got dressed with the help of her mom and maid-of-honor, Aynsley. A fresh layer of snow fell and we took the opportunity to get some solos of Stef outside. I just love how snow can really add a glow to anyone’s complexion.
We jumped in the car and ventured south to the Marist College campus, where Dan went to college. The guys looked sharp with their tuxes accessorized with pocket watches that Dan gave as a gift.
The ceremony and reception were held at the Grandview in Poughkeepsie. Being our first time there, we were amazed at the view they had of the Mid-Hudson Bridge and knew immediately we needed shots of that. The staff were beyond excellent and I have to say that was one of the best meals We’ve had at a venue. The band 39 Mariner from New Jersey drove up for the day and they seriously rocked! They did everything from dancing as they played to switching up various singers for different songs. I wish they were closer to the Capital Region, cause they have got to be one of the best bands we’ve seen.
Stef and Dan, we had such a blast with you guys and were so honored to spend your day capturing it for you. We look forward to coming down your way and having a pint with ya at the Beekman Arms some day soon!

The campus of Marist has such cool architecture and these GREAT wooden doors.
No one makes Dan smile as much as Stef!
