We were delighted when our friends Sarah and Travis contacted us to tell us they were expecting their first child. We were even more delighted when they asked us to come on over to take Sarah’s “baby bump” shots. It was a nice relaxing afternoon and they chose to have the pictures taken at their home. This is a GREAT idea for anyone who is looking to do a maternity shoot. Not only is the home a meaningful location, but we can utilize the nursery (if in the process of being put together), and I think it really gives the couple a sense of comfort being in their natural surroundings. We had so much fun joking and getting Travis (who really didn’t want to be in any shots) to smile. The two are keeping it a mystery as to the gender of the child, so we had some fun with our banner props. These two will make AWESOME parents and we can’t wait to meet the little one, who is due to arrive in a few short weeks. Best of luck on “LABOR DAY,” Sarah!
