Sara & Scott, June 16, 2018, Latitude 41, Mystic, CT
Keith and I were so excited to head to beautiful Mystic, CT for the wedding of Sara and Scott. The weather didn’t disappoint either, as it was truly a picture-perfect day. We started the day at the Mystic Hilton, where Sara was getting the finishing touches of makeup. The girls mingled around the room and once Sara hopped out of the makeup chair, she poured herself and her girls some champagne and they had a celebratory toast in their matching robes. Videographer, Jeff from Ready Set Film was on hand at the hotel as well, and being the first time we worked with him, we hit it off immediately. We left the hotel and headed to the church in Stonington, CT (a few miles away), where we met up with Scott for some quick pics of him and his mom before the Ceremony kicked off. The couple were married inside the church in front of about 180 guests. After the ceremony and a receiving line, we took some quick images of the couple before hopping in our transport to Mystic Seaport. Last time we were at Mystic Seaport, Keith and I were kids, and we remembered it as a pretty cool place. We’l they’ve expanded quite a bit and the artifacts, and beautiful historic ships docked there are a sight to see. We were able to stroll the grounds of the open museum with the couple, shooting at some really picturesque spots. It was such a bright, beautiful day, and the images by the water are gorgeous. We finished up and headed next door to Latitude 41 for their reception. The venue has a large back lawn where guests enjoyed cocktail hour, viewing the water, and playing corn hole. The couple booked the band, Night Shift, who are AMAZING. One of their lead singers was featured on
“The Voice,” so that gives you an idea of how good they are. I swear EVERY single person at that wedding was on the dance floor the entire night, it got a little tricky taking pics and we had to stand on some chairs to get some; LOL. What an absolutely fun and amazing day we had with you Sara and Scott. Thank you so much for including us.
