When we head out to any session or event, you always think you know exactly how it’s all going to go down. But more often then not, something memorable always happens. Rebecca and Dan’s E-Session was no exception to this rule! What was intended to be a snowy day session, turned out to be something completely different. And we couldn’t be happier with the results! As you can see from the photos, it didn’t snow as the forecast had predicted. But it sure was cold….really cold. Keith was nice and comfy in his winter tundra coat, but Rebecca and Dan had to weather the cold. The funny thing is, you would never know it was 18 degrees out from the looks of the photos! These guys never complained once! The other awesome thing about this session was Rebecca and Dan took the time to locate some cool places they liked around Troy where they live. This made the session theirs and that is what we always encourage couples to do when thinking about where and what the E-Session should entail.

One of the highlights was our visit to the The Charles F. Lucas Confectionery & Wine Bar on 2nd St. in Troy. This place has only been open for a short time so we were excited to be one of the first to use the venue in this way. Owners Vic and Heather were so accommodating and the decor and vibe in this place is amazing. CHECK IT OUT if you have not already done so. Little did we know that New Channel 13 was coming by that day to do a story on the Wine Bar. So Rebecca and Dan got in on the action and were interviewed by newsman Dan Bazile. Totally not planned, but it will make for a great story for them to tell!

We also stopped over to Russell Sage College which is right around the corner from where these guys live. The architecture in that area of Troy is outstanding and is so much fun to use as a backdrop. But lets face it, with Rebecca and Dan, the background isn’t that important. These guys rocked every minute of this session and we love how they made it theirs! Their March 2014 is going to be a blast!
