We receive many inquiries for wedding photography from couples that live out of the area. We love our face-to-face consult time with all couples we meet, so we offer a SKYPE meeting. Rachel and Patrick were just one of many that we’ve done this with. It is a great way for the couple to not only meet us, but be able to “see” us and how we interact, personality-wise. This to us is probably one of the most important factors when choosing a wedding photographer. You need to know that you’re going to have fun and feel comfortable, so we strive for this in all we do, even from our first meeting.
Rachel and Patrick were married on a beautiful September day. We started the day at Make Me Fabulous Salon, where Rachel and her girls were getting the works. Giggles and laughter filled the room as they sipped mimosas from pink straws. We absolutely love how Rachel’s mom embroidered custom shirts for all the girls to wear.
We then jumped in the car and headed North to the Inn at Erlowest. This place is beautiful and interesting enough ,the original owner of Story Town once lived there. What a child hood memory for us! We met up with Patrick and his guys getting ready in one of the Inn’s beautiful suites. The guys finished getting ready and headed down to the cool bar area when the girls arrived to take over the suite. Coordinator Alexis from Erlowest checked in and made sure all was going smoothly.
The couple got married down near the shore of Lake George and you could see the various steam boats passing by as they said their I Do’s. The guests returned to the Inn to a gorgeous reception and the sounds of DJ Mike Reilly from CT Productions doing his thing and getting the party rockin’!
It was a beautiful day and we had so much fun with this couple. Rachel and Patrick, we wish the two of you all of the best, and can’t wait till you’re in our area again to schedule another shoot (we hear they just acquired a doggie and we can’t wait to meet him ;).
Make Me Fabulous always knocks it out of the park!
Just in love with these shots of the girls
What a cool, calm, and collected groom
Remember this TEASER! IN LOVE!
These doors to the bar were just so cool that we had to make use of them
What a party
Alexis from Erlowest and DJ Mike Reilly working hard
OH, and of course the other two who work so hard on wedding day. My hair may even get frazzled, LOL-Meg
