There is definitely something about particular couples that make all the stars align for us and Lyndsay and Kyle are one of those couples. We hit it off right from the bat with them and we share a funny kind of sarcastic humor. I guess that’s why we get along so well. After shooting their gorgeous engagement session last fall, we knew we’d have fun with them. The day started at the Glen Sanders Mansion where Lyndsay and her girls were finishing getting hair and makeup done. They moved into the bridal suite and began to get dressed. We were lucky that day because we worked along side an amazing team of people. Our good friend Al Woodard of Al Woodard Films met us upstairs and we worked seamlessly together capturing all the little details. Rachel Eddy from Fine Affairs (who was also the Groom’s cousin) helped us out tremendously with coordination. Flowers arrived by another friend, On Thai from Surroundings, and we ventured down the hall to Kyle’s room where Kyle was finishing getting dressed and having a toast with his guys. The couple both read private letters to each other and then had a first look out on Glen Sanders dock. These two photograph extremely well and all of the images are stunning. They were married riverside witnessed by a little over 200 guests. Their reception was nothing short of a PARTY. Not only did the couple have probably one of the most amazing first party dances we’ve ever seen (including large cutouts of their faces), but the Groom’s father, “Doug” taught everyone how to “Dougie!”

Lyndsay and Kyle, our cheeks still hurt from smiling so much and laughing with you both on your wedding day. We feel we ended the night more as friends then as your photographers. Thanks for sharing your big day with us.
