Have you ever heard of a bride and groom who had not attended a previous wedding before their own? Well that was the case with Anthony (Tony) and Olivia (Livi), and I got to say, you would never know it cause everything went off without a hitch that day. Tony and Livi are probably some of the nicest people we’ve ever met. You may remember their super cute E-Session a few months back at Bette’s Cakes in Saratoga. We knew from the moment we met them; just by the way they were in the presence of one another, these two are madly in love.
The day started at Tony’s friend’s house for some Groom prep photos. When we arrived, the guys were busy playing video games, which we quickly learned was a big hobby of Tony’s. You can see it in the really cool cuff links he found for him and his guys on Etsy. Each one represents a different video game character and who else would Tony have but Zelda and the princess. It was also neat to see the guys toast their good friend with each guy drinking their favorite beer brand.
We then headed down the road to the Comfort Inn and Suites in Castleton, NY to find Livi and her girls getting ready for the big day. Livi was all smiles when we arrived and each of her bridesmaids were so helpful in making he look stunning. Frank Gallo Florist delivered some gorgeous arrangements, which you can tell pop in many of the pictures.
The entire bridal party converged onto Birch Hill where Tony and Livi had their first look. The property at Birch Hill lead to some really nice backgrounds for the couple’s formal portraits. The two were married outside under the direction of Rev. Sue Koehler. The ceremony was lakeside and the sky was particularly stunning. First for us, we had some extra guest participants that tried to steal the show during the ceremony. A few white and one traditional peacock made their way closer and closer to the altar and Livi had a nervous look on her face. But low and behold, they stayed to the side and the ceremony proceeded.
Later on, in the Columbia Ballroom of Birch Hill, the couple partied with their guests to the killer sounds of DJ Chris Johnston from Love of Music. We had such a wonderful day with this couple and we wish both Tony and Livi all the best in their wedded future together.
