Boy are we excited to share this wedding’s Blog Post with you. We can’t say enough about this couple and this wedding, and I think you will see by the plethora of images we selected for their post; it was one FANTASTIC day. Laurie and Pete are that picture-perfect couple who are two of the most happiest people we know. Just a little backstory on how we met them. Pete’s mom Nancy drives our kids’ school bus; so one day she asked us for our business card to give to her son who just proposed to his girlfriend. Hey, referrals come from everywhere. We are so glad that Nancy took our card that day. Meeting both Pete and Laurie, we hit it off immediately and developed a great relationship. Their big day was a no stress, positively fun day, since we giggled with them all the way through. After meeting Laurie and her girls in the hotel, we headed to Jack’s to do their first look. It was so neat that the couple had the bar to themselves and we got to take some very classy photos within the restaurant. Being a Friday, in the middle of a work day, we then walked along the median in the middle of State St., where cars honked and workers shouted from the sidewalk with congratulations for the couple. The Bridal Party met us on top of the hill near the capitol and braved the cold temps. for some pics. The couple were married indoors at the beautiful 90 State Events and then seriously partied HARD at their reception led by one of the area’s best; DJ Mike Garrasi from Music Man Entertainment. Pete is a Police Officer and volunteer Fire Fighter in East Greenbush, and they have a “special” tradition of the Ball-and-Chain ceremony. You’ll have to check out the images below to see what I’m talking about. Funny through, this wasn’t our first rodeo with this ceremony, as we captured it in 2014 for the wedding of Pete & Laurie’s friends, and past KHP couple, Bob & Lauren. This day was such a BLAST!!!
Laurie & Pete, you definitely gave us some fond memories of your big day and we can’t wait to share all of your beautiful images with our supporters. Congrats again guys!
